Welcome to Do Not Feed Alligators, a charming café located at 337 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10014. This is not just a place to grab a coffee; it’s an experience that captures the essence of what a local café should be. Tucked away in the vibrant West Village, it's a hidden gem that invites both locals and visitors to enjoy its uniquely warm atmosphere.
The name itself piques curiosity, but what truly captivates is the quality of the offerings. With a menu featuring a range of carefully crafted beverages, the standout has to be their espresso tonic. As noted by customer 紀嘉淯, it’s a refreshing twist that’s perfect for any day of the week, making it a must-try for coffee enthusiasts!
Equally impressive are the pastries, particularly the raspberry tart that customers like Witchukarn Santianuchit can’t stop raving about. It seems to be a staple for anyone with a sweet tooth. The café also offers a cozy environment to sit down and unwind, whether you're catching up with friends or indulging in a moment of solitude. As one visitor suggested, the space encourages lingering, thanks to its inviting vibe and aesthetic appeal.
For those mindful of dietary choices, the café excels with options like their matcha latte and coconut matcha, where the quality of their oat milk makes every sip delightful, as shared by Josephine Huang. However, be aware that laptops and tablets are not permitted, creating a tech-free zone that many, like Braden, find refreshing, as it fosters genuine conversation and connection.

Whether you're a coffee aficionado or in search of the perfect pastry, this café is undeniably worth a visit.
Amazing place ! I have heard a lot about it and I finally decided to go. You can have the best coffee there. I will definitely come back !
202506 Came on a weekday afternoon and it was quite busy. Talia was lovely! She recommended the espresso tonic which I got and it was super refreshing
Beautiful spot to sit down and talk with friends or chill alone. Great coffee, lovely service. I really like the vibe and interior. As you know the location is great. There’s a bathroom.
The espresso is very tasty! So was their matcha latte. The oat milk they use tastes almost identical with actual milk that it shocked me.
When I think about wanting to get some fruit tarts’Do not feed alligator’ is one of the top three that I will always think about. They have one of the best raspberries tart in west village.
Nice coffee shop to settle in for a bit - we tried the cherry cortado, blueberry matcha, and the raspberry tart. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The heated patio is quite nice.
cute cafe with really good vibes. the staff were all super friendly and the atmosphere was just generally very nice. something to note is that they don't allow laptops or tablets, which is fair but a tiny bit disappointing since I wanted to sit and draw. the coconut matcha was good but essentially a regular matcha, I didn't taste any coconut. that being said, it was strong which I really appreciated! a lot of places will give you a very watered-down matcha. the fruit tart was delicious, easily 10/10. I was lucky and managed to snag the last slice when I got there around 2ish. highly recommend!! overall a cute place to sit and have a sweet treat / talk. I'll definitely be visiting again.
Had such a lovely morning cappuccino here. The vibe is super chill and welcoming, and the space is so beautiful. They also have back patio and books for you to read. And just look at their for here cups I'm obsessed
